Full-time Position Available

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring, Maryland (UUCSS) is seeking a full-time (35 hours/week) Church Administrator.

The Church Administrator is responsible, under the supervision of the Minister, for initiating and performing the administrative activities of a busy church office in support of the Minister, Director of Religious Education, and other paid staff, as well as the Board of Trustees and other volunteer committees of the church.  Significant experience in office administration is necessary; knowledge of church management or administration is desirable.  Being a team player is a must.  Candidate should be proficient in current office computer applications, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.  Database management experience is a plus.  Effective communication is critical, verbally and in writing, with staff, church members, and the public.  High school graduate required, and some college experience is highly desirable.
