JPD Communications

• With the new technology availble to us, the Joseph Priestley District is happy to announce the creation of two new monthly e-mails: JPD Leadership Notes and News You Can Use.  Both e-mails are sent out on a monthly basis and are also posted to their respective pages on the JPD website.  If you would like to be added to either or both of the distribution lists, please send an e-mail to Jillian Conway at jillian@jpduua.org.  A description of each monthly e-mail follows.  (Please note: The new publications replace the JPD Packet and the JPD Newsletter.)
• The first new monthly publication is titled JPD Leadership Notes.  This e-mail contains articles from the members of the JPD staff and from other members of the District Leadership.  The direct link for the JPD Leadership Notes web page is: http://www.jpduua.org/pages/jpd-leadership-notes.php
• The second new monthly publication is titled News You Can Use.  This e-mail contains information of interest to members of the Joseph Priestley District, including news on upcoming events and other information on the happenings in our District and beyond.  Congregations are encouraged to submit news pieces for inclusion in this publication.  If you have information that you'd like to share with the rest of the District, please send an e-mail to Jillian Conway at jillian@jpduua.org.  The direct link for the News You Can Use web page is: http://www.jpduua.org/pages/news-you-can-use.php  
• The JPD-L is an email group list that functions much like a bulletin board. Messages posted to the JPD-L reach all subscribers, allowing information to reach, in just moments, UUs spread throughout the region. To subscribe, go to: www.uua.org/mailman/listinfo/jpd-l_jpduua.org
• The newly designed JPD Website is the foremost resource for finding District-related information. It contains the online versions of all of our publications, most importantly the JPD Packet, Newsletter and Directory. The calendar and upcoming events or important news can always be found right on our homepage at www.jpduua.org. For our full congregational directory listings, please click on the “Congregations” link from our homepage. In addition to JPD-related information, you will also find links to other UU related sites.
  
  To protect our members’ privacy, contact information for each congregation’s leadership is password- protected. Authorized users of our online directory can obtain the password by contacting the JPD office. It will be sent directly to church leadership, as well. It is extremely important that this password is protected and not shared with unauthorized users.
