The Chesapeake UU Growth Committee (ChUUG) is a committee of the Joseph Priestley District (JPD) of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and is chaired by John Gubbings and Rev. Scott Sammler-Michael. This group also includes sub-committee chairs. Contact information on Committee page.

We are sponsoring a Google Adword campaign to encourage growth in the Baltimore-Washington-No. Virginia region, starting the summer of 2009. The ads will point to the regional web site: md-dc-va-churches.org, which has information about each of the congregations in the regional cluster.

We encourage each congregation to have a liaison who keeps their congregation informed. They receive monthly reports via YahooGroups.

Additionally, we would like contact with all congregations' web site/internet volunteers. We will be having Web Conferences in the fall to help provide information about optimizing your web site and other issues to encourage visitors to your congregation from the internet. Web editors, managers, and contributors for congregations in this area may join this YahooGroup.
