Resources for Recruitment Drive 2006-07

Dear JPD Chalice Lighter Ambassador,

Thank you for agreeing to be part of the 2006-07 Chalice Lighters Recruitment Drive. This kit will help you invite individuals in your congregation to participate in a program that is successfully growing our faith in the Joseph Priestley District. Add the sparks from your congregation to the burning flame of Unitarian Universalism.

This kit includes:

1. Introduction to 2006-07 Chalice Lighter Recruitment Drive

2. Suggested Step-by-Step Plan

3. Samples of publicity for newsletters, Sunday Order of Service and more

4. Chalice Lighters % statistics: Congregations listed by alphabet; and by size

5. List of Chalice Lighters in your congregation (to be mailed)

6. Stickers to affix to name tags of current and new enrollees (to be mailed or electronic copy available)

7. List of grant recipients. Use to “Invite-A-Congregation in your neighborhood”

8. Thermometer poster kit. Glue pages to a 20”x30” foam board for an excellent display that includes list of current Chalice Lighters, a thermometer and place to insert completed enrollment forms. (by request only-please email jillian@jpduua.org)

9. A master enrollment form to make copies on the colored paper of your choice

10. History of Chalice Lighters Grants 1987-2006

11. Mini-posters to publicize the Chalice Lighter Recruitment Drive with space for your message (to be mailed)
